Serving at RushChurch

We exist to bring glory to God by making disciples through worship, community, and service. This is our process for discipleship. Out of this service is the overflow of discipleship, serving those in and outside the church. One of the ways we pursue and live out this discipleship trait is through volunteer opportunities.

Food Pantry

The Rushsylvania Church of Christ Food Pantry is available to all who have a need in the community. RushChurch Kids

Volunteers in RushChurch Kids minister to our infants - 6th graders during weekend worship services. They do this through singing, telling stories and teaching the truth of God's Word with the children. They check in kids, lead classrooms, provide assistance to classroom teachers and sing or play in the backyard with our kids.

We're always looking for great individuals to love and serve our kids and help show the love of Christ to them during our gatherings. If you're someone who would like to serve, or just know a little bit more about RushChurch Kids, please connect with us.

Student Ministries

Sunday Gatherings:

Those serving in our Student Ministry on Sundays get the opportunity to build and foster relationships with students, ministering them through the teaching of Scripture, worship and intentional discipleship. Sunday mornings during first service, 7th-9th grade, meet in our youth room and during second service is when our 10th-12th grades meet.

Midweek and Sunday evening Gatherings:

Student Ministries also meets together Sunday evenings for Collide and sometimes midweek for games, community, teaching and bible discussions. We start the evening together playing games and hearing a message, specially crafted for middle and high school students.

RushChurch Gatherings

Sunday Morning Worship Services:

Our Sunday morning worship services are the beginning for most people at RushChurch. We need people who can serve as set-up and greeters, as well as members of the worship team.

D-Groups:

Because our D-Groups are so central to the life here at RushChurch, we are always in need of more people to host, lead and co-lead a group.
